In a continuing effort to keep clients’ information secure, Digital Matrix Systems, Inc. (DMS) today announced an enhancement to the anonymization process used in the company’s data access products. The process will work uniformly at the individual user-rights level across all three platforms.
Consumers and corporations alike are sensitive and vulnerable to inappropriate and potentially harmful uses of private, non-public information. Identity and sensitive data records must be protected while still providing a functional substitute for company personnel that need to leverage data but don’t need access to personally identifiable information. The ability to mask or anonymize sensitive data in both data access tools and data warehouse environments reduces risk exposure and enables companies to effectively leverage data by authority level.
