Digital Matrix Systems, Inc. (DMS) today announced an update to Data Access Point™, a cutting-edge connectivity hub that links clients to key decision data sources with a single inquiry and delivers the data within a standard XML format.
Risk managers need access to data from a variety of sources in order to make better informed decisions. The latest update to Data Access Point expands the number of data sources available, enabling DMS to provide clients with access to over 20 key sources. Additional sources don’t complicate requests — the DMS Common Inquiry feature of Data Access Point actually simplifies them. Users can make data inquiries to multiple data sources simultaneously using one format, which eliminates redundant data and makes risk management even easier.
In addition to a greater pool of sources, this newest version comes with a variety of new tools to identify and isolate risk in the market. Among these tools is Violation Predictor by Explore, a motor vehicle report ordering filter that provides an indicator of when a full MVR is needed. Data Access Point interfaces with CARFAX and AutoCheck by Red Mountain Technologies that provide vehicle history reports.
Also included are LexisNexis RiskView 4.0, which provides credit risk management and non-tradeline data, and Verisk Analytics ISO Interface with information about property/casualty insurance risk.
