Addison, Texas (March 24, 2010)
Digital Matrix Systems, Inc., creator of innovative solutions that enhance credit-based decisions, announced that five additional DMS associates have received certification in Fair Credit Reporting Act rules from the Consumer Data Industry Association.
FCRA is complex legislation, according to the CDIA. It contains many requirements that consumer reporting agencies, providers of data to these agencies, users of consumer reports and others must follow with the goal of providing a uniform and consistent approach in consumer reporting.
Because data security is a high priority, DMS adheres to industry standards and conducts numerous internal and external assessments and audits of processing procedures. Associates educated in data security are critical in maintaining these standards. FCRA certification by CDIA is one of several held by DMS associates.
