2010
As part of its ongoing commitment to security, DMS completed its Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) self-assessment and received its Experian Independent Third Party Assessment (EI3PA) certification, both designed to help protect consumer information.
2009
DMS expands solutions into the insurance industry with a top five insurance carrier. Products and services from DMS are available to all companies with permissible purpose to access credit files, regardless of industry.
2008
The DMS Training Center opens. Situated in DMS corporate headquarters, the center maximizes the training experience for clients and showcases DMS product offerings for potential clients.

DMS delivers CreditWarehouse
®
, a solution to securely retain credit files purchased from the credit bureaus for credit and underwriting decisions. Clients benefit by referencing the original credit file for future analytics and research.

DMS credit platforms earn compliance certification for credit responses from the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Office (MISMO). DMS is one of only five companies on the MISMO Certification Registry at the time of certification.

Transaction volumes continue to increase as DMS responds to client and industry needs. DMS software is recognized as the largest volume processor of consumer credit reports.

DMS processes more than 700 credit bureau archives for clients within a year. By processing archives from all major credit bureaus, DMS adds value to credit data for client analysis.

DMS expands its market presence into Canada with a new banking client and expanded relationships with the Canadian credit bureaus. Today, DMS provides products and services to three of the top five banks in Canada.

DMS purchases a competing company, IQue, Inc., and adds Smart.Alx

DMS unveils summary attributes, which are a shorthand method of analyzing credit information. DMS currently offers more than 2,400 summary attribute definitions and calculations for clients’ use in decision making.

DMS pioneers credit analytics and establishes consulting services. Later, DMS launches CreditAnalyst

giving clients the power to develop custom attributes and scorecards.

HNC Software, Inc. selects DMS as its sole credit access engine for the Capstone decision system. HNC is a market innovator in neural network technology that is later purchased by Fair, Isaac & Company, Inc. DMS continues this relationship with FICO today.

DMS is a preferred credit bureau portal bringing more than 125,000 licenses of software accessing the credit bureaus to the marketplace.

DMS expands to its current headquarters in Addison, Texas, a highly secure, state-of-the-art facility.

With identity fraud on the rise, consumers seek ways to be alerted of changes to their credit bureau information. DMS is selected as the sole credit access platform for what becomes the largest credit monitoring service in the United States and Canada.

DMS enhances its software with proprietary multi-bureau merge technology. Lenders benefit from simplified credit report reviews, which greatly improves their lending decisions.

Credit reporting is taken to a new level when DMS introduces software that pulls data from multiple bureaus for a consolidated view. This capability becomes the foundation of CreditServer™ and CreditToolkit™ today.
1985
DMS leads the shift from terminal- to PC-based credit bureau access with the introduction of CreditLink PC™. Lenders experience new efficiencies in applicant entry and report options with PC computing.
1984
Automation improves accuracy of reporting by the credit bureaus. DMS is the first to provide access to all five credit bureaus from a common desktop platform as the credit industry shifts to automated credit reporting.
1982
Technology entrepreneur David McGough incorporates DMS in Richardson, Texas.
