CERTIFICATIONS
At DMS, keeping data secure is a high priority. DMS holds multiple security certificates and follows a stringent audit process to ensure all certificates remain current. In addition, audits of DMS security and procedures have been successfully conducted by six of the top 20 financial institutions, the Internal Revenue Service and each of the credit bureaus in the United States and Canada.
PCI DSS
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is a comprehensive standard to help organizations proactively protect customer account data. It was developed by the PCI Security Standards Council, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International. DMS has completed the PCI DSS self-assessment in preparation for an on-site data security assessment.
EI3PA
The Experian Independent Third Party Assessment developed by Experian adopts the PCI DSS as the framework to evaluate resellersā networks and data procedures. DMS maintains EI3PA compliance with Experian.
Cybertrust
Formerly TruSecure Certification, the Cybertrust Security Management Program Certification is a risk reduction program that addresses all aspects of proactive information security. Use of Cybertrust Certified status demonstrates that DMS safeguards user information as a critical priority.
VeriSign
A VeriSign Extended Validation SSL Certificate gives web site visitors an easy and reliable way to establish trust online. DMS maintains SSL Certificates with Extended Validation, which informs site visitors that the transaction is encrypted and that DMS has been authenticated according to the most rigorous industry standard.
SAS 70 Type II
Statement on Auditing Standard 70 was developed and is maintained by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. SAS 70 is a professional standard for auditors to evaluate transaction processing of service organizations. DMS maintains SAS 70 Type II compliance, which is the most thorough assessment performed.
